The hugely popular “Magical Angel Creamy Mami” POP-UP store in Hong Kong is coming to Japan with a ton of new products! We have a wide variety of products under the theme of “Backstage.”<\/span><\/h3>\n

11JAN Limited (Headquarters: Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, CEO: Suzuki Masashi), a group of creators that produces products based on Japanese anime and game IP and sells them worldwide from their base in Hong Kong, will be holding a limited-time pop-up store themed around Creamy Mami, the Magical Angel, an IP of Pierrot Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mitaka City, Tokyo, President and CEO: Ueda Noriaki).<\/p>\n

This project is the first time that the company has planned to hold a theme event in Hong Kong, which it has been holding for many years, simultaneously in Japan. The theme for this event is “Backstage,” and the plan is based on the story of a secret dressing room of Creamy Mami, a mysterious idol who appeared like a comet, visited only by a select few fans. Approximately 80 kinds of products have been prepared exclusively for this event.<\/p>\n

The project will start at 10:00 on September 21, 2024. Don’t miss this rare opportunity.<\/p>\n

This event is an exhibition planned to be held in Hong Kong. The first one, held in Hong Kong in 2022, was a huge success, capturing the attention of the region, and attracting approximately 20,000 visitors during the period.<\/p>\n

The second event will be held on September 13, 2024. On the first day, it was as popular as ever, with around 100 customers attending. In keeping with the theme of “Backstage Glamour,” a corner was set up inside the store that resembled the dressing room where Creamy Mami stays during live events.<\/p>\n

It’s unfortunate that we weren’t able to recreate such an elaborate interior gimmick in Japan, but we wanted everyone in Japan to at least be able to get their hands on our products, so we decided to create this Akihabara POP-UP store.<\/p>\n

\u25c6About the original illustrations<\/h2>\n

When we decided on the theme of “Backstage,” we carefully considered what we could show to the fans to make them happy. We considered several key points and designed the interior and merchandise based on ideas such as “What is Creamy Mami’s dressing room like?” and “It would be nice if she had lots of different dresses to change into.”<\/p>\n

If Mami were to change her costume for a live concert, what kind of costume would she show this year? I had fun pondering this. The four costumes for this special design were born from this background. Royal Mami, Western Mami, Oriental Mami, and Kimono Mami. We will welcome the audience with a variety of unique costume changes.<\/p>\n
