TAITO Corporation (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhiko Iwaki; hereinafter referred to as TAITO) will hold the grand opening of the third store of the craft beer and game bar “EXBAR TOKYO plus”, “EXBAR TOKYO plus AKIHABARA”, adjacent to the TAITO Station Akihabara Free Passage store, on Friday, May 2nd.
Taito has previously operated “EXBAR TOKYO plus” in Shinjuku and Hakata.
In addition to “craft beer” and “games,” the “AKIHABARA store” will offer a space where customers from Japan and abroad can enjoy themselves, with “EXBAR TOKYO plus” also featuring its first merchandise corner centered around game IP.
“EXBAR TOKYO plus” offers a new space for “food” and “play” that is appropriate for Akihabara, a city where a wide variety of people and cultures cross over.

“EXBAR TOKYO plus” offers a wide variety of craft beers, mainly from Japan and overseas, and is equipped with “Shall We Tap?”, a self-serve beer tap system developed by Taito that allows customers to enjoy just the amount they like.
You can check the beer’s flavor and product information on the tablet screen, allowing you to enjoy beer in a casual, cashless, non-face-to-face setting.
*To purchase drinks at Shall We Tap?, you will need to purchase and charge a prepaid card.
In addition, a drink bar and light meal menu are available, so it can also be used as a cafe.
