BROSTOKYO, a personal training gym that has been in business since 2016 in Iwamotocho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, is pleased to announce that it has opened a 24-hour Costco resale store within the same building.

Store Introduction:

"Costco Resale Store by BROSTOKYO"

Its main features are 24-hour operation, self-checkouts, and a completely cashless system.

It's open all the time so you can use it according to your lifestyle.

Costco products come in large quantities, but they are sold in smaller portions, so you can shop according to the number of people in your household.

We also accept orders upon request.

Staff are only on site between 10:00-14:00 on weekdays, and you are free to enter through the back entrance at other times.

Gym members receive 10% off all products.

Purpose of business:

Traditionally, sports gyms were closed spaces where only gym members could visit.

We want more people to have more opportunities to exercise and to adopt a healthy lifestyle, so we operate a cafe that serves salads and have created a space that can be used by people who are not gym members as well.

By opening the trendy Costco resale store, we hope to let even more people know about BROSTOKYO as a gym and cafe, and to get them interested in health.

Throughout the pre-opening period:

During the pre-opening period from July 31st, we received a lot of interest from local residents, with many asking, "What kind of store is this?"

There were several people who said they lived nearby but didn't know there was a gym there, which made me realize that stores that have no relevance to them don't even catch their eye.

Our main purpose in opening the Costco resale store was to attract the interest of many local residents and have it serve as a gateway to the gym, so we believe that in that regard it has been effective.

[What is BROSTOKYO? Three features]
1. Providing a delicious, healthy food menu supervised by an athlete food master
The cafe on the first floor offers a food and drink menu that strikes a balance between "delicious" and "healthy," such as green smoothies made with fresh vegetables and fruits, chopped salads, and rice bowls. Coffee and alcoholic beverages are also served, so that customers will feel free to stop by the store, rather than following a strict health diet.

2. Providing a fitness program using the "Power Plate®"
The fitness lounge on the basement floor offers fitness programs using the Power Plate® (sold by Protea Japan Co., Ltd.), an acceleration training machine that is also used by professionals at fitness clubs and medical institutions. Physical measurements are taken using the InBody body composition analyzer, and advice is given on both diet and exercise, as well as support for continuing exercise. Although it is a membership-based facility, drop-in use is also possible.

3. Creating a store that women can easily visit
From planning to running the store, all staff are female. In recent years, women living in the metropolitan area have been spending a lot of time on work and housework, making it difficult for them to find time to fulfill their desire to be beautiful and attractive. We want to be a place where busy women can take a breather, a place where they can stop by to exercise, even if only for a few minutes. All staff work together to create not only the facilities and services, but also a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
