“VRC Big Exchange” to be held on Saturday, December 21st at Akihabara UDX! Large-scale offline meetup, VR creators’ sale, VR device exhibition

There will be an offline meetup with 300 people, seven circles including “Ponderonium Laboratory” and “EXTENSION CLOTHING” will exhibit in person for the first time, and VR-related companies including “VRChat Inc.” will hold exhibitions and experience sessions.

(Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tomomi Azuma), are pleased to announce that they will be holding the “VRC Big Exchange Event” on Saturday, December 21st at Akihabara UDX 2F AKIBA SQUARE for the purpose of three-way interaction between VR users, VR creators, and VR-related companies.

What is the VRC Big Exchange Event?

---

 

The VRC Great Exchange Meeting is an event that aims to promote interaction between VR users, VR creators, and VR-related companies, and to generate new interactions that can only be had in the real world.
This event was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it will be held again after four years.
The event will be held on the vast 1,300m2 site of AKIBA SQUARE on the 2nd floor of Akihabara UDX.
The event will be divided into two parts: the ” Daytime Session ” from 11:00 to 16:00, and the ” Evening Session ” from 17:30 to 20:30.
The ” Daytime Session ” will feature a ” Sale Event ” by VR creators, a ” Business Area ” centered around VR-related companies, and a ” Social Lounge ” where more than 100 people can interact at the same time.

In the evening, we will hold a social gathering . We are planning a large-scale offline meet-up with a buffet for 300 people .
This event is free for circle exhibitors, corporate exhibitors, and general participation .

Daytime session: Sales event (11:00-16:00)

We will be holding a sales event where creators active in VRChat will exhibit their products.
Seven circles will be exhibiting at a real event for the first time: ” Ponderonium Laboratory ,” ” EXTENSION CLOTHING ,” ” MAISONDARC. “, ” Engine Kazumi ,” ” Hyuganatsu Mikan ,” ” Koyori Labo ,” and ” VRC Event Calendar .”
As of November 21, seven circles have decided to exhibit, and from today we have begun accepting applications from circles to exhibit publicly. We are expecting a total of 35 circles to participate in the sale.

Ozashiki Race Club, a race team made up of VR users, will be exhibiting their vehicles! (11:00-20:30)

At the entrance to the venue, we will exhibit a vehicle that is actually used in races by theOzashiki Race Club , a race team made up entirely of VR users! Enjoy learning about the outline of endurance racing and taking commemorative photos with the vehicle.

Evening session: Social gathering (17:30-20:30)

For the evening social gathering, we are recruiting approximately 300 participants on a pre-registration basis, and plan to provide alcohol, soft drinks, and food in a stand-up format.
Admission is 3,000 yen, or it will be free if you post on X on the day with the hashtag “#VRCBigExchangeMeeting” .
Applications for the social gathering will be accepted from 18:00 on Thursday, November 21st until 23:59 on Friday, December 6th .
The winner will be announced at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th.
