Animate Co., Ltd. will be holding an additional "BEYBLADE X POP UP SHOP in Animate" from September 6, 2025.

"BEYBLADE X" is the latest addition to Takara Tomy's Beyblade series, a modern spinning top. This fourth-generation series has evolved from a traditional toy into a captivating sport, and has garnered popularity not only in Japan but around the world, with cumulative worldwide shipments exceeding 30 million units (as of April 2025). The world championship, "BEYBLADE X WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025," will be held at Tokyo Tower on October 11th and 12th, 2025.

The "BEYBLADE X POP UP SHOP in Animate" will be held in succession from September 6th, and will not only sell Beyblades, but also original goods, special exhibitions, and a free battle space. Furthermore, the "Staff Battle" that was a huge hit at the first Animate stores in Sapporo, Akihabara, and Hiroshima, as well as the sale of event-exclusive merchandise, will continue.

In the "Staff Battle," you can battle against Animate staff! Winners will receive a "BEYBLADE X Animate Collaboration Sticker" that can be attached to their Beyblade. The sticker features a collaboration design featuring the Animate logo and the anime store manager. Beyblades are also available for rental, so even first-timers can feel free to participate.

■About Beyblade

Beyblade (published by Takara Tomy Co., Ltd.) is a modern take on the traditional Japanese spinning top, Beyblade, which was first released in 1999. It's a "modifiable battle-specific top" featuring sophisticated design, customizable parts, and a dedicated launcher that makes it easy for anyone to spin. To date, three series have shipped a total of over 520 million units (as of April 2023) in over 80 countries and regions worldwide: the first-generation "Beyblade Bakuten Shoot Beyblade" (since 1999), the second-generation "Metal Fight Beyblade" (since 2008), and the third-generation "Beyblade Burst" (since 2015). Each series has created a boom in countries around the world, including Japan. The fourth-generation "BEYBLADE X" will launch in July 2023. This is the fastest Beyblade series ever, equipped with a new gimmick called the "X (Extreme) Dash," which creates super-acceleration when the "gears" on the axis of the Beyblade (top) mesh with the "rails" of the stadium. It has become even more sporty, evolving into GEAR SPORTS that captivates not only players but also spectators.
