BANDAI NAMCO Amusement Co., Ltd. will open the "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop" Akihabara store specializing in Bandai's capsule toy brand "Gashapon" on March 1, 2023 (Wednesday), "namco Akihabara store" (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). open inside.

In recent years, the capsule toy industry has seen an increase in the number of large capsule toy specialty stores, which are enjoyed by many customers as a familiar form of entertainment. Bandai's original capsule toy brand "Gashapon" wanted to deliver "exciting experiences" and "unique products" directly to fans. BANDAI NAMCO Amusement, which owns the store, will open this store in collaboration.

The "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop" Akihabara store will open inside the "namco Akihabara store" which will open on the same day. A "Gashapon department store" will also be established, and will develop a "Gashapon" specialty store with the largest number of installations* in Akihabara, a representative of Japanese subculture.
