Taiwan’s No.1 Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara store will have its grand opening on Friday, January 12, 2024

The Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara store, which pre-opened on December 10, 2023 and has been well-received as a place where you can enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine prepared by Taiwanese maid waitstaff, will officially open on January 12, 2024 (Friday). .

Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara store opened in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as the first branch in Japan of Taiwan's No. 1 long-established maid cafe, Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe, which opened in Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2005 and is now in its 19th year. We would like to thank the many owners and ladies who have returned home since our pre-opening on December 10, 2023.



It has been well received for its ability to enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine with multinational maids from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan in a luxurious Western-style mansion-style restaurant. ) We will strive to further improve the waitperson and service at the grand opening.

Regarding the grand opening date

A special waitperson event will be held on the official opening day, Friday, January 12, 2024. Two popular maids from our sister store in Taiwan, Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Taipei Station Store, will be holding a one-day limited event. There will also be a mini live performance on the day, so please come and celebrate the anniversary with us.

Extend your stay

During the pre-opening period, it was possible to stay for one hour with a minimum spend of 1,500 yen, but after the grand opening, the stay time will be extended to 90 minutes with the same minimum spend of 1,500 yen. This will make it the same system as Tsukuyomi sister stores in Taiwan. Please enjoy your meal and conversation with the maid.

Add in-store events

The following in-store events will be held every day to make your stay at the mansion even more enjoyable.

Afternoon rock, paper, scissors competition

We will hold a rock-paper-scissors competition with the owners and ladies in the store, and the winners will receive autographed goods and smartphone photos. Held once at 4pm on weekdays, and twice at 2pm and 4pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

good night song

Every day before closing, a maid will perform a good night song. This is called the evening song service at our sister store in Taiwan, and is a Tsukuyomi traditional closing service. Please stay with us until the museum closes and enjoy it with us.

Implementation of special events

In addition to daily events, birthday events and promotion events are held regularly by our maids, and popular maids from our sister restaurant in Taiwan come to Japan to hold special waitstaff events. In addition, events will be held with external guest appearances by idols and cosplayers, as well as collaboration events with animation and games.

Expansion of menu

A major feature of the Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara store is that you can enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine such as lu rohan (roan meat rice) and beef noodles, but at the grand opening, we will further expand the Taiwanese food menu.

Previously, Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe did not serve alcohol, but from the grand opening, customers will be able to order up to two bottles of Taiwanese beer per person when ordering special menus such as main dishes and Taiwanese fried food sets.

Introducing the Gluttony Challenge Menu

A new gluttony challenge menu that weighs over 5kg is now available. This is a challenge menu full of Taiwanese foods such as rouleau and parkaw. It's free if you eat it within 30 minutes.

Vtuber project

This is the debut project of Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe's exclusive Vtuber. This will be the official character of all Tsukuyomi stores. Audition will be held soon.

The person inside will be serving as a maid at Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara branch.

Tsukuyomi Idol Project (TIP)

"TUKUYOMI IDOL PROJECT (TIP)" is an idol project by active Tsukuyomi maids. They made their debut in Taiwan ahead of time, and were selected as one of the “21st Undiscovered Idol Select 10 for the second half of 2023'' by the Japan Local Idol Activation Association ( https://idolnavi.net/idolselect202312/ ).

The Japanese version of TIP is also scheduled to debut at the Tsukuyomi Maid Cafe Akihabara store.
