A birthday event for Toro from the story game series "Dokodemo Issho" will be held in Akihabara this year! "Raw Toro" will also be appearing at the birthday party and photo session, and new "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise will be on sale.
Beside Inc. (Headquarters: Tachikawa City, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazunori Minami; hereinafter referred to as "Beside") is pleased to announce that it will be holding " Toro's Birthday Event 2024 in AKIHABARA " on Friday, May 3, 2024 (national holiday).
The "Dokodemo Issyo" series started with the story game "Dokodemo Issyo™," in which players teach their Pokepi (Pocket People) words and have fun talking to them. The series has since expanded beyond the boundaries of games into various genres such as television, merchandise, and events. Counting from the first title released as a PlayStation™ software, this year 2024 marks the 25th anniversary of the series.
Toro (real name: Inoue Toro) is one of the Pokepi that appears in the "Dokodemo Issyo" series; he is a white cat who believes that if he learns many words, he can become human.
Ahead of Toro's birthday on May 6th, it has been decided that a birthday event will be held at the AKIHABARA Gamers main store in Akihabara, Tokyo on May 3rd.
In addition to selling new merchandise, there will be a lot of other events, such as a birthday party and photo session featuring Nama Toro.

★New "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise on sale!
Starting on the day of the event, we will be selling merchandise featuring Toro's 2024 birthday main visual and birthday logo, as well as new merchandise with motifs from past "Dokodemo Issyo" series.
Details about the goods will be announced at a later date, so please stay tuned for further information.
Additionally, Gamers stores will be selling commemorative goods that have been sold exclusively on Toro's birthdays in the past, as well as "Dokodemo Issho" goods currently on sale by Besaid.
On the day of the event, customers who spend 1,000 yen or more on "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise will receive a special postcard featuring the main visual design. Don't miss this chance to get one.
* Bonus postcards will be available until stock runs out.

★ Let's celebrate birthdays together! "Toro's Birthday Party 2024"
This is a birthday party to celebrate Toro's birthday. The star of the party, raw fatty tuna, will also be making an appearance!

On the day of the event, customers who spend 5,000 yen or more on "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise will receive a "Photo Ticket with Toro" on a first-come, first-served basis, in limited quantities.

How to participate in a photoshoot with raw fatty tuna
On the day of the event, from 11AM onwards, customers who spend 5,000 yen or more (tax included) on "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise at the AKIHABARA Gamers main store and wish to participate in the photo session will receive a "Photo Session with Toro (one ticket for either the 1st or 2nd session)" on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bring your photo ticket and come to the event space on the 6th floor when admission for each session begins.
*The photo session is limited to 30 groups per session . You can choose which session to participate in, but the session will end as soon as all the spots are sold out.
*In order to allow as many people as possible to participate, we would appreciate your cooperation in limiting the exchange of "Photo Tickets with Toro" to one per group.
* Admission begins 30 minutes before each show.
*Photos will be taken using your own smartphone, camera, etc.
*Depending on how busy it is on the day, we may hold a lottery to determine the order in which people purchase items.
★Illustration autograph session by Nao Horiguchi, the character designer of "Dokodemo Issho"
On the day of the event, there will be an illustration signing session by "Dokodemo Issho" character designer Nao Horiguchi for lucky winners, whose participation will depend on the amount of "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise they purchase.
The artist will sign any items you wish to purchase, such as merchandise or colored paper, right in front of you. Don't miss this rare opportunity!

How to participate in the illustration signing event
On the day of the event, starting at 11:00, you can enter a Garapon lottery once for every 3,000 yen (tax included) you spend on "Dokodemo Issho" merchandise at the AKIHABARA Gamers main store. Winners will be given a "signing ticket participation ticket," so please bring your participation ticket to the event space on the 6th floor approximately 15 minutes before the start of the event.
*The lottery will end when there are no more winning tickets.
*We will not have colored paper available, so please bring the item you would like to have signed.
