Fan-participation VTuber Festival “CONNECT V FES” to be held in Shibuya and Akihabara!

“CONNECT V,” a streaming program hosted by the virtual artist unit “Tacitly” operated by NTT QONOQ Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “CONNECT V”), will hold the “CONNECT V Fes” on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

This event will be a fan-participation live event with a total of eight people, including six guests who have appeared on “CONNECT V” in the past and Tacitly’s Lilia and Ciel. In addition, as a first attempt, the opening act will be performed by the winners of the “CONNECT V NEXT” audition, which was organized by the program to discover new talent.

This is a streaming program hosted by virtual artist “Tacitly.”

With the concept of “a place that connects you with your favorite idols,” the event will be live-streamed at “XR BASE produced by NTT QONOQ” next to Akihabara Station’s Midori no Madoguchi and on YouTube, where you can enjoy a variety of content, including talks with guests, special projects, and special live performances.

2. CONNECT V Fes Event Overview

What is CONNECT V Fes?

“CONNECT V” was started with the desire to express the “connection” between performers that transcends the boundaries of agencies and other organizations.

The shuffle live performance, in which each performer sings their own original songs in units that are only available on the day, is a special event unique to “CONNECT V Fes.”

The event will feature the show’s regular Q&A corner and quiz competitions where fans can participate, as well as a collaborative live performance between the cast members, unique to “CONNECT V,” which is based on the concept of “connecting.”

Various projects will be held based on the concept of “connecting,” including not only the performers but also talk corners that connect fans of each other and fans of their favorite artists.

3. What is the new project “CONNECT V NEXT”?

In conjunction with “CONNECT V Fes,” a new project called “CONNECT V NEXT” has also been launched. Recently, a large number of VTubers have been active, making the most of their own unique characteristics. In this context, with the aim of focusing on VTubers who cannot be introduced within the usual “CONNECT V” framework, this project is themed on “Meeting a new favorite,” and we are looking for VTubers/Vsingers who have debuted within the past year, whether self-recommended or recommended by others.

From among the many applications, the winner this time was selected as “Minaton.”

What is Tacitly?

A virtual singer duo consisting of Lilia and Ciel.

With the goal of “connecting the world through music”, they broadcast music in three languages (Japanese, Chinese, and English).

The theme of the music is “Can people understand each other?”

The name Tacitly comes from the Japanese phrase “telepathy” and the Chinese phrase “the heart is filled with light.”

So far, they have released 11 original songs in three languages.

The music will be produced by well-known creators from Japan and abroad, including 40mp, *Luna, Yuki Kurihara, Scop, Atsushi Mizuno, KIRA, DASU, TeddyLoid, and Yukino Ito.
